As I walk alone in the Way of the Ancients, I am upheld by a Faith empty of all Beliefs;

Treasuring white clouds that drift aimlessly across a vast blue Sky, my heart is filled with endless gratitude for simply being alive;

Cherishing the full moon that shines its gracious light on an expansive ocean surface, my mind is emptied of all worries and concerns;

Journeying like a fallen leaf, hither and yon; tenderly blown by the wind of no-mind, I trustfully rest in not-knowing where I go;

Faithfully accepting the wisdom of each moment just as it is, I dance along the path of life and death with childlike exuberance and wonder;

As my heartbeat is content and my body is at ease, I no longer run toward a true horizon that is always beneath my feet;

Meeting the true Dragon within myself, I emerge freely from the darkness of the mountain cave;

Soaring like a hawk far beyond thinking mind and all worldly beliefs, I remain forever nested in the still wisdom of my flight;

Smiling at countless stars and bowing to timeless rainbows, I honor the still wholeness and vast impermanence of all beings and things;

Wholeheartedly present in each flashing moment of birth and death, I passionately enjoy my boundless intimacy with the whole universe;

Journeying far and wide beyond my ego-self and thinking mind, I daily realize deep trust, lucid compassion, and fearless peace as my true home.
